So I traveled westward for Clifton Forge's very own fall festival this weekend. Not alot to that, just a celebration of the leaves turning.
Speaking of which above are a few pictures of the leaves at Douthat State Park and Humpback bridge. Both only about 15 minutes from my house. Happy Cold AT LAST FALL!

Damn! Why don't I live there?
those picts are awesome. Its sooo pretty there!
Man, this makes me want to take some artsy fartsy shots of Wildwood. Don't you challenge me, pony! I've got a 100 foot ferris wheel!
Man, those ARE some damn good nature shots! I want more "falls" on the first one!! Can you ride that on a floatable device?
As they say on the cartoons, that first drop is a Loo-Loo! But you can ride a paddle boat on the smooth lakey part during the summer, as well as fish, hike, camp and all that good naturey stuff.
More pics to come next month - when 1/3 of OEF travels back to Covington to the Homestead, Gathright Dam and Lake Moomaw.
